Our Story

Our mission from the beginning has been to provide healthy, karma-free food to the Long Beach community; we’ve since expanded that vision to include catering throughout SoCal. We can cater any event, big or small. We place a premium on preparing and delivering fresh vegan food, in a timely and professional manner. We are here and ready to serve you.

At Ahimsa…

Everything is vegan. We use organic tofu, tempeh, brown rice, and beans. Most of the ingredients for our sauces, dressings, and condiments are also organic. We use organic produce whenever possible, and much of our produce comes from our own heirloom farm in Escondido (which is pesticide free and working toward organic status). Our breads and pastries are made with unbleached flours, and we use vegan sweeteners (e.g., organic agave, organic evaporated cane juice etc.).
